Isabel is a Melbourne based textile designer whose works exhibit a contemporary energetic style. Telling stories through the mediums of materiality, colour, pattern and texture.

Inspiration is drawn from her hometown in northern coastal NSW and from picturesque environments around the world, with the philosophy that imaginative design concepts can be found anywhere and turned into a tactile creation. She works across a variety of disciplines including illustration, hand wovens, jacquard technology, computer aided design, as well as screen and digital prints, all assisting in creating a unique explorative repertoire of works.

Throughout her studies in the BA Textile Design at RMIT University Isabel has gained invaluable industry experience whilst being an active member of the university community. With internships in design houses, selling designs to national fashion brands, as well as exhibiting in and curating shows for cultural program’s in Melbourne Fashion Festival. Isabel continues to explore ideas and further push her skills further in both the local and global design community.
